Who We Are

Since inception in 2015, The Kesho Alliance has been fighting for quality education, especially for the girl child in Garissa county.

Our day to day activities include; holding youth forums and dialogues, distribution of sanitary pads, offering mentor-ship programs and conducting lots of research on their dynamic society.

The Kesho Alliance has been working towards the implementation and advocacy of the 2/3 gender rule in Garissa county, land ownership for women and more women participation in leadership.

The Kesho Alliance pioneered the Student to Student Sponsorship (S2S) program that aims at providing monetary and mentor-ship aid to needy students across the country, it is a foundation of the students, by the students and for the students.

We are a national non-profit organization whose main mission is to empower children, women and youth in marginalized communities by promoting peace and cohesion, quality education, human rights and sustainable development.

Kesho alliance has made huge strides in improving the lives of many young girls and boys through scholarships,  school mentor-ship, menstrual hygiene management, peace building and countering violent extremism.
